Makes binge watching difficult for new comers. I have tough time getting my friends to watch the anime.

that's only because toei didn't even animate 20% of the episodes themselves and was outsourcing it to other studio's during dragon ball era. they only started animating episodes completely in super

Its different for DBZ though, in DBZ we could use the logic about they fight with a super speed that normal human cannot see, the one we can see are super slow motion of their fight. Thats why 5 minutes became a bunch of episodes.

from 03:00 to 8:48 you see nothing in terms of action but a fucking dialogue and a power up.

OK, hear me out: it's almost impossible for them to show what everyone's doing simultaneously. I think that the speech was taking place as soon as they reached the bottom of the stairs, i.e. before Perospero started aiming, and the speech finished just as he was taking aim.

To be fair, Perospero did also talk while aiming that arrow. And that conversation probably was much much shorter than it looked like.
